The recipe sounds fine, but (sorry for saying) it doesn’t look as good as it perhaps should be. It looks more like something went wrong in the oven. The gratin wisp underlines this.
With regard to the photographic side of things: nice close up, I like the colors and lighting. The arrangement and setting could be improved; for instance: one can hardly see what’s in the peppers. Perhaps you could PS the rim at the top.
