The stuffed pepper is fantastic, the steak unfortunately was horrible lol. It was a horrible cut, the meat had the consistancy of liver....not good for a cut of Delmonico

Too flat. A photo like this needs to pop.

Was the lighting done with a lamp or a remote flash? Whoever Corinthian is doesnt have a clue the work that goes into shots like this. Mabye a different angle, a bit more contrast, and this one would be a winner.

I like it -- makes me hungry! I think it would look better without the meat in the background though.

I don't like the meat, at least out of focus.

Corinthian, whatever, if it's muck, I'd still eat it.

Dejk, it could be the lighting, but I've already bumped the saturation on this +20 on PS. I'm not sure I could get more of a "pop" with out distorting the colors beyond their natural tones. Maybe playing with the contrast like Lamul suggest could help.

Lamul, I did the lighting with a lamp, The flash on my compact digicam isn't the best and always washes out the image, especially with macro shots. Thanks for the hints on boosting the image. As for Corinthian, I dunno what's his issue, I notice that his comments were quite vague on all the photos with a mediocre score throughout with the exception of the photo with the flowers. I've never recieved a score of 1 ever in this group, or anywhere close to it. I suppose it won't be the last lol. :P

(I got 6 scores it seems, I suppose I could cancel the one out? lol, I guess I better just stick to the rules)

Andrastia, I appreciate it :) maybe another time I'll submit the others with out the meat.

Coka, can't always get everything in focus when in macro :P maybe the steak is a distraction. Thanks for your comment and score ;)

episodic, thanks for your score, I think you just gave me a wildcard :)
